Summer fun at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing and Understory

Wolf’s Ridge Brewing and sister venture, Understory, focus on great craft beer, community, and locally sourced products when possible.

Whether it’s the release of a new unique brew, the re-release of a fan fave, happy hour, pups on the patio, live music, or seasonal events, you’ll always find fun with Wolf’s Ridge. 

Kid AND dog-friendly patio and regular events at Understory and Wolf’s Ridge Brewing. Lastly, they have private event spaces available for rent at both locations. 

Wolf’s Ridge Brewing offers a craft brewery, restaurant, taproom and events space in downtown Columbus.

Options include the dining room for a more upscale dining experience, with a creative and seasonal full menu for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch.

Or choose the taproom, where you’ll find some fun beer on tap, included experiments and limited run options, plus a more casual (yet no less creative) menu.

Wolf Ridge Brewery Tours

Tour the original downtown brew pub at 1pm on Saturdays. Learn about Wolf’s Ridge history, take a look at the brewing process, get a closer look at the brewery and sour barrel aging spaces, and taste some great beers!

Tours are around 45 minutes to 1 hour and involve a walk through of our brewery space and our sour barrel program.

Participants must be 21+ years old to sample beer during the tour. Tickets are $15 and include a sample flight of 4 beers, and a beer token redeemable for a full pour of any Taproom draft of your choice after the tour concludes!

Individuals 16 years old and older (if accompanied by a parent or guardian) can attend as a non-tasting participate for free.

Understory

Understory is a sister venture and experience with Wolf’s Ridge Brewing.

The multi-purpose building is located directly off the Olentangy Trail and home to a public Lounge, Commons and Patio space, as well as a Private Events Room!

The focus is on reimagined specialty craft cocktails, beer and wine, and the Lounge serves a small plates food menu. 

Understory hosts fun events throughout the year – stay up to date on the Facebook page and website.

A dollar from every 614 Lager purchased in October will be donated to the SOS of Ohio, which is a low-cost, nonprofit spay and neuter clinic serving low income families and animal rescue organizations.

Mother’s Day Market

In collaboration with the SoHud Collective and to celebrate the wonderful moms of Columbus, shop the pop-up market featuring over 40 local makers and artisans to shop from in the Understory events space and terrace.

To complement the shopping, brunch will be available in Understory’s Commons + Patio.

Understory’s Flashback Prom

Saturday, May 20, 2023, 8-12 am. 

Dress your best, get inspired by your favorite era, and get ready to dance the night away with music from the Soundclash Entertainment DJs and a live performance from the Whirlybirds. There will be a selfie station set up to get those perfect Prom snapshots. Enjoy a full-service private bar in the events space, and food will be available in the downstairs kitchen.

Single tickets are $25, and include a token for your first drink, while Couples tickets will cost $40 and include two tokens for your first drinks.
