Stroll Through a Holiday Wonderland: Dawes Arboretum Winter Wonders Walk

Take a stroll through a winter wonderland during The Dawes Arboretum Winter Wonders Walk on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2024 from 6 – 9pm. 

There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, with illuminated trees, food trucks, live music and a special appearance from Santa Claus!

Winter Wonders Walk at Dawes

This is the only nature-friendly holiday light display in central Ohio. Hundreds of LED lights are positioned in the ground to illuminate the trees rather than wrapping them with stranded lights.

Please note that the walk is approximately one mile and shuttle vans are not be available. Full details here. 

Special events

Special Sensory Sensitivity Night: Thursday, December 12. Offering a quiet, dimly lit walk through the Arboretum’s winter
wonderland.

A sensory kit is included with admission that contains sunglasses and fidget devices which will be available in the Visitor Center.  A craft room will be open, and a calming room will be available in the Visitor Center for individuals that may require a quiet space for self-regulation.

Santa’s Reindeer: Saturday, December 21. Santa’s reindeer arrive to take him home to prepare for this holiday season. 

Admission for Winter Wonder Walks

Admission is $5 to members and $10/non-member adults, $5/children ages 5-15 and free/children under 5 years of age. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.dawesarb.org.
