See what its like to go on a safari – just outside of Central Ohio! Head East to The Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio, one of the largest wildlife conservation centers for endangered species in North America. With Safari Tours, Zipline Tours, Horseback Tours, and Fishing Safaris, there’s something for everyone for a chance to see 500 animals representing 29 species. You can even make a trip out of it and stay in Yurts (adults-only) or The Lodge.
The Wilds is about to kick off the season this Spring with tours, fishing, zip-lining, and WildZFest featuring Iron Man and Thor on Saturday, May 12 from 10 am – 5 pm. It’ll be a great family day with entertainment, food, drinks, games, crafts and other attractions for all.
Iron Man and Thor will be there for photos with little Superheroes throughout the day, and they’ll have a chance to meet Columbus Zoo characters and catch presentations with animals from the Columbus Zoo. There will also be an education, games and attractions, a marketplace, and more.
The celebration is free for everyone; tours and excursions are additional and should be booked in advance to ensure space. Parking is $6; free for members.
