Ohio Wildlife Center not only treats 5,000+ animals each year, with the goal of returning them to the wild, they also host educational programs and events for kids and adults.
The Center sits on 20 acres of woods, wetlands and meadows providing a permanent sanctuary to 59 animals ranging from coyote and fox to hawks, owls, squirrels and turtles.
Wild Story Time
On the first Wednesday of most months from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., preschoolers will have a blast at the Wild Story Time at Ohio Wildlife Center.
In addition to story time, they’ll meet an Animal Ambassador, and enjoy a themed craft. You can stick around after the story to visit with other Animal Ambassadors too.
Parents must stay for the duration of the program.

Advance registration required due to capacity limitations. Admission is $5 per child at the door (must pay by cash or credit card only).

Can’t make it on a Wednesday? They also host a a family day on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Since its founding in 1984, Ohio Wildlife Center has served as an expert in wildlife healthcare and human-wildlife conflict, as well as and conservation education. The Center cares for more than 5,000 animals annually, spanning over 140 species.
