Westerville Parks and Recreation hosts several Spring events and Easter egg hunts in Westerville.
Not only do they have the traditional-style egg hunt, they also offer Easter fun for teens, individuals with disabilities, and even an underwater hunt!

Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 2 pm – 4 pm at Westerville Community Center
The pups deserve some Easter love too! Register your doggies to meet the Easter bunny and have their photos taken in a spring setting – bunny ears optional! Details on page 28 of the community guide.

Westerville Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Eggstravaganza
Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10 am – 12 pm behind Hoff Woods Park off McCorkle Blvd. There is a photo area for the bunny, inflatables, and more. Bring a basket!
For the egg hunt, kids are separated into age groups. Ages 3 and under start at 10:30 am, with older age groups after. Don’t be late – the hunts are over quickly!
The event will also feature breakfast-themed food trucks and other activities. Details on page 29.
Underwater Egg Hunt at Westerville Community Center
Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 10:30 am – noon. Colored eggs will float and sink to the bottom of the Community Center leisure pool. Exchange collected eggs for candy and toys!
MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE; this will sell out. Registration starts on March 7 online for residents.
Age groups 4-11 are divided up for the hunt. Cost is $14 per child ($7 for residents). Stay after the egg hunt and enjoy open swim from 1-5 p.m. Parents are free; parents/siblings who wish to enjoy open swim must purchase a day pass. Registration required by age group.
Epic Egg Hunt at Westerville Heritage Park
Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This is not your traditional egg hunt! Participants will hunt for eggs that contain points inside, the participant will add their points to collect a prize at the end. Enjoy snacks and drinks too!
Advanced registration is required and is $15, or $10 for residents; for ages 9-14. Details.
Civitans Egg Hunt for Individuals with Disabilities
Saturday, April 19, 2024 from 11 am-12:15 pm at Westerville Community Center. Designed for individuals with disabilities (intellectual/developmental and physical).
Beeper eggs available for those with visual impairments. The hunt is indoors and site is fully accessible.
