Wag! Festival: The Biggest Dog Fest of the Summer

Wagfest is cancelled for 2024. 

A true dog day of summer, dog lovers won’t want to miss the annual WAG! Festival! And the dogs deserve this day all about them!

Celebrate all things dog at the largest dog festival in the Midwest on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10 am – 4 pm at the Darby Bend Lakes Area of Prairie Oaks Metro Park.

The free family festival features unique pet vendors, live entertainment, contests, pet advice, and more, including lots of fun for the doggies.

Wag! Festival

Bring your well-behaved and leashed dog to socialize, explore trails and splash in the lakes of the park. They’ll love cooling off at the Water Bark Beach off-leash swim area.

Teach an old dog new tricks when they watch demonstrations, freestyle performances and dock diving by talented local canines.

The WAG! Marketplace include exhibits of products, services, and samples from pet retailers, veterinarians, doggie day care centers, pet photographers, groomers, trainers, and clubs and organizations dedicated to the health and well-being of canines.

Dozen of local rescue groups will have adoptable dogs to meet and greet, so if you’re looking for a new best four-legged friend, this is the event for you!  Experts will help you find the type of dog that is the best fit for your household and lifestyle.
