Upper Arlington Winter Festival, Visits with Santa, and other holiday fun

Upper Arlington is celebrating the winter season with a weekend of fun in December, including the Winter Festival and Tree Lighting, Santa visits, and other holiday fun. 

Upper Arlington Winter Festival

Get in the spirit of the season with the UA Winter Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Mallway Park on Arlington Avenue.

The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner and we have exciting events planned to welcome the holiday season. Enjoy an evening of ice sculpting, horse-drawn carriage rides, bonfire and S’mores, visits with Santa and his reindeer and UA’s tree lighting ceremony.

The tree lighting ceremony is at 7:30 pm.

Breakfast and Brunch with Santa in Upper Arlington

Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Join Santa for a brunch buffet at the beautiful Amelita Mirolo Barn in Sunny 95 Park (4 time slots). Children can visit with Santa for pictures and to share Christmas wishes.

Children must register with one parent/guardian or responsible adult. Don’t forget to bring your camera for a picture with Santa! No strollers please.

Pricing is $12-$26 depending on residency. Registration for Breakfast & Brunch with Santa opens November 6 at 6 am at parks.uaoh.net.

Santa’s Mailbox in Upper Arlington

WHERE: Mailbox in Kenny Road Parking Lot of Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road
WHEN: November 15 – December 13, 2024
HOW: Children who drop off their letters to Santa in the special Upper Arlington mailbox receive a reply from Santa directly from the North Pole. To guarantee delivery, include the child’s full name, complete address with zip code and an unaffixed postage stamp. One per child.

Register to bring your family to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus during one of six time slots. We’ll also have face painting, take-home crafts, and cookies. Registration opens on Saturday, November 23 at 10 am.

Winter Wonderland at UAPL Tremont Road Branch

Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Join the library in celebrating the season with Winter Wonderland; activities include iceless ice skating, face painting, balloon twisting, cookie decorating, curling and caricaturists. Details.
