The Smith Nature Park in Upper Arlington comes alive as a haunted forest this October with the Upper Arlington Golden Bear Scare.
From October 14-16, 2024, from 6 pm – 9 pm, guests will be lead through the forest with a Scare Ranger, who will explain the history of the park and how it came to be haunted.
It features a progressively scarier haunted forest, with early hours (6:00-7:30 PM) designed for elementary-aged children and later hours (7:30-9:00 PM) offering a spookier experience for middle schoolers. Attendees must be accompanied by adults.
Golden Bear Scare is open to the public, no pre-registration required.
Parking is available on the streets adjacent to the park (North Star). Northwest Christian Church is offering Parking in their west lot. They are accepting donations at a table for anyone who wants to show appreciation for use of the lot.
