The Upper Arlington Community Relations Committee celebrates the 3rd Annual Cherry Blossom Celebration on Monday, April 7, 2025, beginning at 5 pm in Mallway Park, on Arlington Avenue.
Cherry Blossoms at Ohio University
This celebration of the grove of cherry trees by the Veterans Plaza is part of a broader series of activities scheduled along with the Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival.
Celebrate spring and learn about Japanese culture.
UA’s Cherry Blossom Celebration include the following activities
- Friendship Bracelet Making & Origami Activities – coordinated by Asian American Community Services and UAHS AAPI Association, with materials supplied by Schumacher & Bauer, DDS.
- Guzheng Musical Performance – by UA High School Student, Elena Zhu
- Koto Musical Performance – by UA Resident, Lisa Reaves
- Community Relations Committee Welcome Table and refreshments
- Cover to Cover Books Display
