Go trick-or-treating with the pups at Franklin Co Dog Shelter

Costumes and candy and adoptable dogs at the Franklin County Dog Shelter! Head there for a fun Trick-or-Treat with the Pups for the kids on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10 am – noon.

Don your favorite costumes and bring the kids visit the shelter for an afternoon full trick-or-treating with our adorable and adoptable dogs!

Note: Please leave your own pets at home. The only dogs in attendance will be adoptable dogs at the shelter.

Trick-or-Treat with the Pups

Treat stations for the kids are located throughout the shelter, along with crafts, games, and holiday activities.

There’s also a REVERSE Trick-or-Treat, where guests can give dog treats to the adoptable dogs and they walk through the shelter.

Costumes are encouraged, but face masks can be scary for the dogs. Please plan to remove masks in the kennel areas. Leave props at home too! No one knows what these dogs have experienced.

Donations of soft and chewy treats are always appreciated.
