These huge semi-annual consignment sales feature name brand, excellent condition items from hundreds of families.

You’ll find clothing for all sizes, toys, games, shoes, baby gear, sports/fitness/camping equipment, home décor, bikes, and so much more! 

Faded, stained, and out-of-date clothing aren’t accepted for selling, so you won’t have to dig through to find the good stuff! You’ll often find items that are new with tags too!

Selling with Three Bags Full

Want to shop even earlier or make money selling things you no longer need? Become a consignor!

It’s easier than you think, and you’ll get paid for items you no longer want or need! I’ve made over $500 at every sale for which I’ve been a consignor, which is way more than I spend shopping at the sale. 

Even if you don’t have that much to sell and only make $100, that’s $100 more than you had before – for items you no longer need. 

Some consignors only sell 20-30 items each sale, and they use that money to buy the next size up in clothing for their kids. Plus you can buy/sell books, toys, games, shoes, sporting equipment, and so much more. Plus sellers shop first, which means you get the best selection!

It’s a great place to look for upcoming holidays and birthdays too. You’ll usually find the “hot” toy from the prior holiday at a fraction of the price – and even toys that are new in package.

Selling is simple

Enter your items in the online system at home on your own schedule (no photos needed, except for online sales), print tags on cardstock or thick paper, and hang and pin the tags to the items.

I just do it while watching TV in the evenings. Drop them off on your preferred drop-off time, and that’s it! There is a seller Facebook group that can help answer all of your questions and give great tips. 

They also offer online sales now – just enter a photo and description of your items before the sale, and delivery was sells to one location for buyer pickup.

Most sellers choose to work 1-3 volunteer shifts at the sale to keep more of their consignment earnings (60%-80%), but it’s not required. It’s a great way to scope out the sale and plan your shopping before or after your shift. 

You can even have someone pickup/price/tag/drop-off your items through VIP tagging if you don’t want to be bothered. All you have to do is gather them up and then wait for a deposit to hit your account in about a week after the sale. 

Special offer for new sellers

Tell them that you were referred as a seller by Columbus on the Cheap at check-in/drop-off, and you’ll get a $10 referral credit to spend at the sale.

This only applies to new consignors who did not have a previous consignor number. (note, if you are a new seller and have already signed up, tell them at drop-off for the referral credit).

If you have a friend who is already a seller at the same sale, give their name at drop-off instead, and you’ll both receive $10 credit to spend at that sale (I don’t receive referral credit through the website, and I’d rather your friend get credit anyway!)
