Swensons Drive-In may seem like a newer, fun fast food concept, but it’s been serving up food in the Midwest since 1934. While the brand has grown, and some things have changed, the nostalgia and tasty food still remain.

Whether you’re going for a chicken sandwich, crispy onion rings, or The Galley Boy, a double cheeseburger with two signature sauces, don’t forget to leave room for the famous milkshakes!

Swensons for Lent

Though it’s known as a burger joint, Swensons Drive-Ins offers a delectable, flaky fish sandwich all year long that’s perfect for those observing no-meat Fridays during Lent.

Not a fan of fish? There are other meatless options including a grilled cheese, egg salad sandwich, and Salad Boy (veggie burger), all of which can be paired with Swensons’ famous crispy sides and are sure to satiate any appetite.

Summer of Swensons

Beginning the second weekend of July through Labor Day Weekend, each Thursday through Sunday will see a recurring lineup of events, with a weekly fresh take on each theme to keep guests coming back for new fun experiences.

Dog Day Thursdays

Swensons Drive-In has got something special for your pup every Thursday – a free doggie sundae, plus a bonus tennis ball! It’s the perfect treat to make your furry friend’s day extra wag-tastic! (while supplies last).

DJ Theme Night Fridays

With a DJ setting the tone, customers are encouraged to dress up during the event from 7-10 p.m. and vie for a gift card prize awarded to guests who show the most spirit. Every other Friday, beginning July 7

Great Meals & Hot Wheels Saturdays

The car is the table at Swensons so we’re excited to celebrate the heart of the drive-in experience: the automobile!

From 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. guests who drive the car of the day are encouraged to show it off, while other guests can check out the various styles that bring folks together

Bottomless Fountain Drinks Sundays

Enjoy bottomless brunch, which means unlimited free refills on regular-size fountain drinks. Guests can use this opportunity to try any and all of the great fountain drink flavor combinations.
