Swensons Drive-In may seem like a newer, fun fast food concept, but it’s been serving up food in the Midwest since 1934. While the brand has grown, and some things have changed, the nostalgia and tasty food still remain.

Swensons for Lent

Though it’s known as a burger joint, Swensons Drive-Ins offers a delectable, flaky fish sandwich all year long that’s perfect for those observing no-meat Fridays during Lent.

Not a fan of fish? There are other meatless options including a grilled cheese, egg salad sandwich, and Salad Boy (veggie burger), all of which can be paired with Swensons’ famous crispy sides and are sure to satiate any appetite.
