Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse: Beer Tastings, Movies, and more

Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse hosts so many fun events along with movies, including beer tastings, themed series, and community events throughout the year.

Also, it’s a REALLY cool theater! (It’s also the first place I learned about the perfect pairing of M&M’s mixed into Movie Theatre popcorn…)

Family-owned and located in Clintonville, it’s not “just” a movie theatre. In addition to the 2 movie screens, they also have a full bar with 40 draft beers, and a in-house pizza kitchen with creative pizzas, hot sandwiches, and salads. So you can even just stop in for pizza and beer! (I NEED the Fig-a-ma-jig pizza!)

Fun facts? It’s the FIRST theater in the US to have a license to sell alcohol in the early 1970s. And, it’s home to several ghosts!

Studio 35 Academy Awards Watch Party

Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 7:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Watch the Oscars on the big screen! There are themed cocktails, Oscars bingo, and more TBA festivities! Seating will be available at 7:30pm and the admission is free! Details.

Out Of This World: All-Night Horror Marathon

March 15, 2025 from 11 pm – noon

Love horror movies? Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse and Nite Owl Theatre’s Mike McGraner will host the 2nd all-night horror marathon! 13 hours of fun to thrill and chill you from 11pm Saturday night (the 15th) to noon on Sunday the 16th.

The marathon will feature 8 movies this time featuring creatures that are “out of this world.” 5 of the 8 titles will be announced in advance with 3 more surprise titles being revealed the night of the show! Grab your tickets and stay up with the big kids as we party all night long!

Tickets available on Jan 18 at 10:00 am, and come with a commemorative pint glass.

Pizza Mondays

Fibonacci’s Pizzeria specialty pizzas are $12. You-Do-You pizza pies (with up to 3 toppings) are only $10! The specialty pizza combinations look amazing! (I love a bougie pizza!)

$8 Ticket Tuesdays

Movie tickets are just $8 on Tuesdays! What else are you doing on a Tuesday night??

Beer Tastings at Studio 35

Catch a fun movie paired with featured breweries or themed beer. These make a great day date, event with friends, or something to do on your own with other people who enjoy the same things (beer and movies!).

Tickets are typically around $45-$50 and include 10 beer tastings, funny stuff with Andy, a custom pint glass or other swag, and raffle prizes! The events are structured, so make sure you arrive before the starting time to collect giveaways, tasting cups, and get your seats.

Saturday Cinema

Throughout January and February, join Studio 35 every Saturday afternoon to enjoy classic films meant for the biggest screen possible! Movies start at 1 pm; tickets are $12.

DUDEATHON 2025 (Now sold out!)

January 17-19, 2025

Dude movie, Dude merch + beer tastings. This is the most popular annual event and showings ALWAYS sells out. (Proof, it’s sold out). 

Watch The Big Lebowski! and enjoy the event hosted by Andy Wuelfing, featuring your favorite breweries. Tickets are $50 and include a custom-printed pint glass, raffles, 10 beer samples, and the movie.
