Slick City Action Park Waterless Waterpark coming to Columbus

Columbus is on the list to expect a brand-new type of adventure in 2025 with the opening of Slick City Action Park, the first indoor slide and action sports park. This innovative waterless waterpark offers the thrills of a traditional waterpark but without the water.

Slick City Waterless Waterpark

Slick City provides a proprietary slide surface that mimics a water slide in speed and performance. Instead of traditional water slides and splash zones, visitors will enjoy dry slides and obstacle courses! No bathing suits or towels needed!

The park will have various zones designed for different age groups, ensuring that families with young kids, as well as adrenaline-seeking adults, have plenty of options for fun. Attractions will include high-speed tube and body slides, as well as climbing walls, obstacle courses, and bounce houses. 

A Growing Trend in Year-Round Play

Slick City is part of a (welcome) growing trend of replacing empty retail locations with indoor, weatherproof entertainment options that perfect for Ohio, where outdoor waterparks and adventure are limited to half the year. It will be located at 1170 Polaris Parkway, the former location of a Bed, Bath and Beyond retail store. 

In addition to everyday visits, the park is expected to cater to birthday parties, corporate events, and private group gatherings, with event packages and dedicated party spaces available for booking.

According to the website, some locations also offer Adult nights, Family days, Homeschool socials, and after-hours events. 

Ticket prices are not set for Columbus, but other locations list the following ticket prices: 

90 Minutes – 25.99
120 Minutes – 30.99
Junior Tickets – 13.99 (3 and under)
Slick City socks (required) – $4.99

Multiple-use and monthly passes will be offered as well.
