See a collaborative mural being painted during Short North Summer Spray

The Short North is home to lots of murals and public art, and it gets even more colorful with the Summer Spray Mural and Exhibition Series.

This year, 11 local artists will contribute their own unique section to a 1,300-square-foot collaborative mural. The brand new piece of locally-collaborated public art titled “Beyond the Seen,” will live on in the Short North Arts District beyond its creation.

The mural will be created outdoors on West Goodale Street, between High Street and Park Street. Watch the artists create their sections live on Saturdays from 3 pm – 7 pm.

Once completed, the mural will remain in the Short North Arts District, becoming a vibrant symbol of community and creativity for an entire year. 

Participating artists will also showcase their work in an exhibition space for 10 weeks in the Short North Arts District.
