The Shamrock Club celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with Proclamation Day, Mass, St. Patrick’s Day parade, and Irish Family Reunion.
Proclamation Day
Friday, March 8, 2024. There is a Mass at 8:30 am at St. Christopher Church 1420 Grandview Ave. This will be followed by a breakfast at Byrne’s Pub 1248 W. Third Ave Grandview. (Check for breakfast updates)
Afterwards, gather in Columbus City Hall Council Chamber where the Mayor proclaims March 17th St. Patrick’s Day. March to Broad & High and paint shamrocks on all four corners and in the middle. The proclamation ceremony begins promptly at 11am.
Proclamation Day Fish Fry and Evening at the Club
Doors open at 4 pm. Fish from from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm features all-you-can-eat fried fire house fish, sides, and dessert. Adults $17 and $12 for children under 12. Carryout Available.

Saint Patrick’s Day Mass
The annual Shamrock Club Saint Patrick’s Day Mass is 9:30 am at St. Joseph’s Cathedral (212 E Broad St, Columbus). The Procession to Mass will form at 8:30 am at Meet at Gay & 5th Streets.
St. Patrick’s Day parade
The Shamrock Club Saint Patrick’s Day parade forms immediately after Mass on Broad Street directly in front of St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The Parade starts forming at 10:30 am, and will step off at 11:45 am.
The parade steps off in front of St. Joseph’s Cathedral and heads West on Broad Street, North on High Street and ends at the Greater Columbus Convention Center for the Irish Family Reunion.
Shamrock Club Irish Family Reunion
The Shamrock Club Irish Family Reunion returns to the Columbus Convention Center on March 17 for the huge St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! Doors open at 7 am for table decorating and cooler drop off before Mass and Parade.
The Irish Celebration begins at 1 pm after the parade. It will feature dance schools and live entertainment by some of the best Irish performers.
Coolers with food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted; no alcoholic beverages may be brought in, but are available for purchase. Food and beer are also available for purchase.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children age 5 to 17 if purchased in advanced. Children 4 and under are still free. Tables for 10 can be reserved for $140.
You must reserve a table if you want a guarantee place to sit. Tables and tickets are available by contacting the office and are also on sale at each General Membership Meeting. Please call 614-491-4449 to purchase tickets. Find more details here.
