Scioto Fest 2024: A Weekend of Outdoor Fun at Scioto Audubon Metro Park

Enjoy a weekend of outdoor adventure at Scioto Fest 2024 on September 13-14, 2024 at Scioto Audubon Metro Park. This free annual event is a perfect way to welcome the fall season.

Friday Evening Highlights

The festivities kick off on Friday at 5 p.m. with the return of “Yappy Hour,” where dog lovers can treat their pets to custom tie-dyed bandanas while browsing local vendor booths.

Outdoor adventures include “Try It! Climbing” and “Try It! Kayaking” sessions, led by experienced guides.

You’ll also enjoy live music from local bands, food trucks, and a special beer release from Nocterra Brewing Co. and Land-Grant Brewing Company.

Overnight camping is available if you want to sleep under the stars. Metro Parks staff will be onsite at all times, even overnight. Bring your own gear – tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, chairs, food, water, etc. See full rules here.

Saturday Adventures

Activities on Saturday include “Try It!” climbing sessions, kayaking, and the Metro Parks Annual Climbing Competition. You can also try slack-lining, volleyball, and hammocking.

Local food trucks and breweries will be on-site all day.
