The Science of Big Machines at COSI
Big machines and construction equipment converge in downtown Columbus from Friday, June 8 – Sunday, June 16, 2024.
Get behind the wheel and experience equipment that builds roads, bridges, and buildings! Explore the science and technology of construction by trying equipment out first hand and learning with real engineers.
The Science of Big Machines is located on the west side of COSI, next to Dorrian Green Park.
Discover how big jobs get done, from small tools to big equipment. A variety of equipment will be onsite to discover.
Admission and COSI discounts
‘Big Machines’ is included with COSI general admission and membership. Purchase tickets online.
Admission is $25-$30, but there are discounts available for many. Active, reserve, and retired military get $2 off with id, and seniors 60+ get $2 off. Teachers get FREE admission at COSI!
Don’t forget – Columbus Zoo members (and members of other select area attractions) get $3 off admission at COSI when you show your membership card with Columbus Member Advantage.
If you have a membership at other ASTC or ACM centers or museums, you’ll get 50% off admission, so check your membership details! Participants in WIC, Ohio Directions or Ohio Medicaid also receive a discount through Museums for All.
