Schools Out! President’s Day Weekend

This weekend is a long weekend for many with President’s Day on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Whether you think of it as honoring the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, or a day in honor of all of the Presidents, everyone can agree – it’s nice to have a long weekend just when it feels like winter will never end.

Spend it at home with family, traveling, or doing some fun things around town. If you need a few ideas, we have a list of fun things you can do during President’s Day Weekend in Columbus.

Celebrate Presidents Day, 2023 at the Ohio History Center! Stop by to create your own campaign memorabilia and meet several 1st-person Presidential presenters on the museum floor. Other themed activities will be available throughout the day as well. Details here.

President’s Day at National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Monday, February 20

Enjoy $1 admission to visit the museum on President’s Day from 10 am – 5 pm. Learn more about their unique stories and discover the experiences of our Veteran Presidents when you visit.

hands-on activities for visitors of all ages including a presidential scavenger hunt, coloring pages, and presidential trivia in the Great Hall at 12:00, 1:00, and 2:00 p.m. (winners receive prizes from our gift shop!).

Presidents’ Day at Shepherd’s Corner

February 19, 2024 from 10 am – 3 pm

School is out, so come spend part of your day with us. Activities for the day will include story times, meet the animals, a craft, and more! Enjoy the meditation trail & labyrinths on this family friendly day! Take a winter walk through the woods at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center

Children should be accompanied by an adult. This day is open to folks of all ages. See details here.

BOGO at Scene 75
