Schools Out! President’s Day Weekend

This weekend is a long weekend for many with President’s Day on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Whether you think of it as honoring the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, or a day in honor of all of the Presidents, everyone can agree – it’s nice to have a long weekend just when it feels like winter will never end.

Spend it at home with family, traveling, or doing some fun things around town. If you need a few ideas, we have a list of fun things you can do during President’s Day Weekend in Columbus.

President’s Day at National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Monday, February 20

Enjoy $5 admission to visit the museum on President’s Day from 10 am – 5 pm. Learn more about their unique stories and discover the experiences of our Veteran Presidents when you visit.

Presidents’ Day at Shepherd’s Corner

February 17, 2025 from 10 am – 3 pm

School is out, so come spend part of your day with us. Activities for the day will include a scavenger hunt, meeting the animals, and other seasonal activities! Enjoy the meditation trail & labyrinths on this family friendly day! Take a winter walk through the woods at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center.

Children should be accompanied by an adult. This day is open to folks of all ages. See details here.
