Holiday Magic in Powell: Lucy Depp Park 13-Acre Light Spectacular

Once a year, a small community in Central Ohio transforms into something magical. Spread across 13 acres, Lucy Depp Park free drive-through holiday light show has grown into one of the must-see events for families around Columbus.

From Black Friday through January 5, 2025 this captivating light display brings joy to thousands, with a mesmerizing mix of holiday lights, music, and community spirit.

What started with a boy and his allowance money has grown into a full-fledged wonderland covering nine houses and stretching across 13 acres of property, with donations going to a local charity organization each year!

Lucy Depp Park Lights

The show runs each night from dusk until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

As you drive along the half-mile show loop, tune your radio to 87.9 FM to enjoy a custom mix of holiday music paired with the light show.

Support for a Cause

Each year, the Lucy Depp Park light supports a local community cause. Visitors are encouraged to donate to Feed the Kids Columbus, a charity that provides meals for children in need. Each dollar donated goes directly toward providing a meal for a child, making this holiday outing an opportunity to give back.

Lucy Depp connection to the Undergound Railroad

Lucy Depp Park is more than just a home for the holidays; it has a rich history. As the first African-American-owned farm in Delaware County and a former stop on the Underground Railroad, this community is a historical treasure in Ohio.
