Oyo Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company in Columbus, Ohio.

Promoting diversity, acceptance and cultural awareness, performances feature dancers of all backgrounds, ages, and body types. This non-profit organization is an amazing way to enjoy and experience the art of ballet, modern, and ballroom dancing, and they make it affordable for all.

Oyo promotes appreciation of the art of dance through public performances and outreach, access admission, educational programs, and community activities.

Access Program and Outreach

Oyo believes that access to arts experiences should be available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. 

Residents of Franklin County who receive WIC, SNAP, or Medicaid benefits can get free tickets to performances.  Find details on how to apply on the website. 

Non-profit social service groups (group homes, assisted living, shelters, etc) can bring their clients or residents to the performances for free.

Fairy Tales

Carmina Burana

Oyo Dance Company is excited to present Carmina Burana. Choreographed by Oyo’s own Alex Cornejo, this piece will feature live music by members of WCO, live opera singers, and guest dancers from El Salvador to weave a vibrant web of integrated performance for all lovers of the arts.
