Operation Second Chance provides veterans and families with connection and support through fun events

Operation Second Chance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting wounded, ill, and injured veterans and their families.

They host various free events throughout the year, such as veteran health and wellness workshops, art programming, recreational events, and family outings. The events are designed to connect veterans with the resources and community they deserve.

Cafe Connect- Second Saturday of Each Month

The Women Veterans Social invites attendees to relax with coffee, tea, and complimentary pastries while connecting with fellow women veterans.

Share stories, find support, and explore valuable resources in a warm, welcoming space. Build lasting friendships with like-minded individuals and learn more about the events and programs offered by Operation Second Chance. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect, recharge, and be part of an empowering community!

Bring your kids and enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries while meeting fellow veterans who are balancing life with children. You’ll also learn about Operation Second Chance’s upcoming summer events, including family-friendly activities.

Tote-ally Empowered: Craft, Connect, & Build Resources!

Design your own canvas tote bag while learning about essential resources to support your well-being. This interactive event will focus on key areas such as mental health, career development, financial wellness, and physical health, giving you tools to thrive in every aspect of your life.

Sweet Connections: Cupcake Decorating for Women Veterans

Sweet Connections is an event all about self-expression, camaraderie, and enjoying sweet treats! Join us at The Cup Cakery where you’ll receive half a dozen cupcakes to decorate with a variety of frostings, sprinkles, and toppings. Whether you’re a cupcake-decorating pro or just looking to get creative, this event is all about unleashing your artistic side while connecting with other women veterans.

Family event at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center!

This special event, designed for children aged 3 to 12, invites women veterans and their families to enjoy interactive LEGO play zones, thrilling rides, and an immersive 4D cinema experience.   It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and families while learning about Operation Second Chance and the vital support available to those who have served.
