The Ohio State Homecoming Parade

Brutus, parade floats, and Buckeye pride will hit the streets on campus for The Ohio State Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 25, 2024!

Ohio State Homecoming Parade

October 25, 2024 at 6 pm. As one of the biggest and longest running traditions at Ohio State, the homecoming parade features student organization floats, colleges, departments, community organizations, and local celebrities with this fun tradition during Alumni weekend. 

The parade dates back to as early as 1920, and has been an annual event since 1965.

The 2024 Homecoming Parade will begin with step off at the Ohio Stadium on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the West Stadium Parking lot and end at the Ohio Union. 

The Grand Marshall for this year’s Homecoming Parade will be Archie Griffin.

Traffic and Parking for The Ohio State Homecoming Parade

Parking suggestions include:

Ohio Union Garages (along High Street, South of 15th)

Arps Garage (along High Street, North of 17th)

Tuttle Garage (near the Architecture Building)

South Campus Gateway Garage (along 11th Avenue, East of High Street)

Lane Avenue Garage (corner of Tuttle and Lane Ave)
