Ohio State Fire Marshal Festival celebrates our brave firefighters

Families will have a blast at the FREE Ohio State Fire Marshal Festival on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10 am – 3 pm in Reynoldsburg.

The festival is at the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s campus, and kids will learn more about firefighters and the work they do.

It’s a celebration of the courageous work of Ohio’s firefighters and the important work the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division State Fire Marshal does to ‘Protect What Matters Most’ to Ohioans.

A few exciting elements of the festival include:

Helicopter landings
K-9 fire dog training exercises
fire apparatuses
fire safety demonstrations

There is also entertainment that will focus on education, safety and fun. Interactive experiences a magic show, face painting, bounce houses, balloon twisting, and a kiddie combat challenge with water hoses.

Food trucks will be on site if you want to purchase lunch while you enjoy the festival.

Dress for the weather, as most of the activities will be outside. There are some covered areas and indoor activities, but most of the festival is outside.
