As part of International Bat Week, the first annual Ohio Bat Festival is on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 12 pm – 5 pm at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on OSU campus.
Ohio Bat Fest
The Ohio Bat Fest is a fun, family-friendly, educational event on the Saturday before Halloween.
It will feature exciting multimedia presentations from bat experts, activities for kids, and interesting exhibits highlighting the ecology, diversity, and conservation of bats in Ohio and worldwide.
The event is free and nature enthusiasts of all ages are invited! Come dressed up to enter the costume contest. Hosted by the Carter Lab (https://socialbat.org/) and the Evolution and Ecology Club at OSU.

No donations are requested for attending, but there will be stickers and t-shirts available as gifts for certain donation levels at the event.
