National Trail Raceway is a 1/4 mile drag strip located just east of Columbus, Ohio that allows people from the Central Ohio area to participate in the thrills of NHRA Drag Racing.
Since 1964, National Trail Raceway has been the largest motorsport’s facility in Central Ohio. The track offers events from April through October. Racers compete at National Trail Raceway from all over the nation at a wide-variety of races. The track’s most popular events include the Hillbilly Nationals Demolition Drag Race, Import Face-Off, Night of Thunder, NHRA JEGS SPEEDWeek, Mopar Nationals, JEGS Summer Fling and the Halloween Hootout.
Every ticket includes a pit pass, so fans can get up close to the drivers and cars! Many drivers will sign autographs to anyone who asks. They offer fun events for race fans and families! Read below for details about the new locally-owned drive-thru Christmas Lights show!
Christmas Lights at National Trail Raceway Magical Lights of Winter

Let the Magical Lights of Winter take you on a dazzling drive-thru Christmas Lights show. The new show will feature over 2 miles of synchronized Christmas lights dancing to music for everyone to enjoy. Enjoy the whole show from your own car as you listen to the Christmas music thru your radio.

A new feature this year is all tickets will need to be purchased online in advance. Tickets will be separated in time slots for each night which will keep the wait times to a very minimum. You will be able to purchase hot chocolate and Christmas cookies to enjoy as well – or bring your own!
The Magical Lights of Winter will run from November 15, 2021 to January 9, 2022. The show will be open nightly, rain or shine and on all holidays.

Fall Pumpkin Smash Demolition Drag Race at National Trail Raceway
Saturday, October 9 from 4 pm – 10:30 pm
The National Trail Raceway is doing another Demolition Drag Race this Fall! They will finish off their season with the Fall Pumpkin Smash. The rules are simple: two vehicles must hit at least once between the 100ft and the 1/8th mile to be a valid race, but that doesn’t mean they can’t hit more than once! Fans will get see who is left standing at the end of the night after all the carnage.
Spectator Gates open at 3 pm, Racing starts at 6 pm
Tickets can be purchased online.
Racer: $40
Adult Admission: $15
Kids 11 & Under: Free
