Zany kickoff to Summer with May Madness at Boardman Arts Park

Kick off the summer with margaritas, music, and mania on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11 am – 6 pm! May Madness at Boardman Arts Park will have fun activities including: taco trucks, island music, artist booths, water slides, fair food, summer beers, zany races, and sand sculptures!

This family-friendly event has something for everyone. 

Pay admission at event; $5 Adults $2 Children (12 & under). Admission for the event will only accept Cash, Venmo or PayPal transactions. All proceeds benefit the development of Boardman Arts Park, a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

May Madness Zany Activities of Summer

Sand play areas to face painting to a human slot machine! Some activities will cost extra to participate, while there will be a handful that will be free with admission.

• Beach Cut Out – Photo Op (free)
• Face Painting / Hair Color (free)
• Big Splash (wristband)
• Inflatable Axe Throwing (wristband)
• Water Slides (wristband)
• Bell Ringer (wristband)

• Photo Booth with props (wristband)
• Mechanical Surf Board Ride (wristband)

Wristbands can be purchased inside the Park for $10/person. This will get you unlimited access to all the Zany activities listed above

Sand Castle Competition

Watch local businesses compete to build the best sand castle! Each attendee will receive a sea shell to vote on your favorite sand creation! Competition starts at Noon and winner is selected at 3pm!

Other activities

Shop Vendors! 20 vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of Summer inspired items from jewelry, to plants, decor, clothing & more! Don’t miss the Tropical Patio Plant sale at the Plant Library! 

Margarita & Beer Station Available for purchase will be: Classic Margaritas, Virgin Margaritas, Beer

Enjoy fun Food & Drink Options Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event, including: Casa Hacienda Street Tacos, Bada Bing Bada Wings, Libelulas Sugar “Truck”, Ciao Cafe Cheesecake Perfection, and Aunt Di’s Kitchen

You could get wet on various activities like the dunk tank and water slides, we encourage attendees to wear a bathing suit and bring a towel if you want to participate in those activities.
