MASH Pantry Collecting Halloween Candy and Paper Grocery Bags for Veterans

The MASH Pantry and Resource Center provides crucial support to our American Veterans, Military families, and Survivors throughout Central Ohio. They assist with securing food, clothing, personal hygiene items, along with a mobile outreach program (fresh produce markets), PTSD Program with PEER support meetings, resources, and more. 

Their goal is to honor our American Veterans, Armed Forces, their families and Survivors for their sacrifice by helping them secure any assistance they may need.

How can you help?

Veterans Halloween CANDY Drive

MASH is collecting Halloween candy to give to veterans. They are willing to pick up larger quantities if needed, or you can drop off at the below locations on the collection days.

MASH Delaware, 222 E. William Street Delaware, OH 43015
Thursdays only 10 am – 12 pm on November 4, 11, 18 and December 2, 9, 16. 
MASH Grove City 2996 Columbus St, Grove City, OH 43123
1st and 3rd Saturday of November & December (10 – noon).

Decorate and donate brown paper grocery bags

The MASH Pantry and Resource Center is collecting empty large paper grocery bags to create “Thank You Veteran Bags”. They would love to receive decorated bags so they can fill them with necessities, food, snacks, etc. and distribute them to Veterans around Ohio. 

How can you decorate the bags? Anyway you want! This would be a great school, preschool, church, or group project, and these can be done at home and collected for drop off. Decorations can be simple or elaborate, and made by people of any age. Paint, draw, glue, or add embellishments. Just do something to brighten their day and make them realize how much we all appreciate their sacrifices. 

Need bags? Ask for your groceries to be packed in paper, or purchase a few if needed (they are usually only 5-10 cents).

• MASH Grove City, 2996 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio – on the 1st and 3rd Sat of the month, 8:30 – Noon

Personal Hygiene Items Drive for Veterans

MASH collects personal hygiene items each month to distribute to Veterans. Drop off unopened full size or travel size shampoo, soap, lotion, dental hygiene items, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, razors, shaving cream, and more. The next collection dates are: 

• November 20
• December 18

Drop off between 10 am – noon; drive around back for drop off at MASH Grove City 2996 Columbus St, Grove City, OH 43123

Other donations accepted

MASH accepts food donation, pet supplies, hygiene items all year long. They also have an Amazon wishlist you can purchase from to be sent directly to the pantry, and they are always collecting monetary donations to be used where they have the greatest need.
