Ohio History Connection is such a fun and educational resource in our city, but the education doesn’t stop in the museum or at school! Kids can continue to explore with Learn at Home through Ohio History Connection. They’ve gathered resources and content to keep your kids engaged and interested in learning about Ohio History while at home.
The Learn at Home resources are organized by grade level, so you will find targeted content for your kids. There’s even content for adults, because there’s no age at which we should stop learning – especially about our great state history.
Learn at Home with Ohio History Connection
Historian projects are for all ages, and they also offer suggestions for other local and national resources to use in home education.
One of the lessons in the resources for all ages is Collect and Connect Oral History Activity, and it’s the PERFECT lesson for kids to connect to family members via phone, email, skype, or FaceTime. With social distancing and seniors being higher risk right now, this is an amazing way to reach out and connect with older adults in your life. It’s a great way to preserve memories of your loved ones.
