Snow Trails slopes are open for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing! Now that it feels like winter, its time to play in the snow!

Located in Mansfield, Ohio, Snow Trails is just a quick trip up Route 71 from Columbus – close enough to drive up in the evening or for a one day trip!

Snow Trails has made lots of improvements to make your experience even better this year! Snow Bucks Gift Cards make GREAT gifts! 

Season passes are available for the 2024-25 season, but they usually sell out early! There are multiple options, including everyday season passes, once-a-week season passes, senior passes, and more.

Kick off Party

The annual Kick-Off Party is Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 at 9 p.m. with The Ark Band. Tickets are $10. Advanced Ticket purchase is required and can be booked online.

For the 2024/25 season Advanced Bookings are required online for daily Lift Tickets, except for season pass holders. Walk-Ups are unavailable.

Vertical Descent Tubing Park

Opening date for Tubing Park is still TBA.

Not so solid on your feet? Go tubing at their Vertical Descent Tubing Park! Tubing is $35. Snow Tubing is offered every Thursday-Sunday & Peak Days.

Ticket must be reserved in advance. Make reservations and see details about hours, glow tubing, and special events at this link.

The tubing park typically has a later opening day date than the slopes.

Polar Bear Children’s Programs

Snow Trails comprehensive Children’s Ski and Snowboard Program is available Fridays, Weekends and Peak Days this season, starting December 14.

It’s a great way to introduce kids to the sport of skiing and snowboarding between the age of 4 and 9 years old.

The program combines the fun of discovery, the challenge of trying new things and the excitement of mastering new skills, all in a safe environment. Children are led by skilled and fun-loving instructors in outdoor activities, with short warm-up and snack breaks indoors this season.

Reservations are required online by 6 p.m. the day before. Walk-ins are not accepted. The program includes a lift ticket, ski or snowboard equipment rental, snack and instruction.

The Tubing Park Will Be Open 9AM until 1AM with GLOW TUBING!

Annual Will Tube for Food – January 8, 2025
 “Will Tube For Food” benefits Catalyst Life Services, here in Vertical Descent Tubing Park at Snow Trails! This event will be under the Glow Tubing Led Lights!

2hr Tubing Tickets $30 (Reg. $35). You Save $5 and Snow Trails will donate $5 to CATALYST LIFE SERVICES from each ticket.

About Snow Trails: 

Snow Trails, which was the first commercial ski area in Ohio, is a privately-owned resort, under the same management since inception.

The resort features six chairlifts, including a slow-moving Beginner’s Double Chairlift and two ski carpet lifts dedicated to the Beginner’s Area. A third carpet lift is utilized for the Snow Tubing Park with the “Longest Tubing Lanes in Ohio.”

The Resort offers 21 total trails and is known for Timberline trail – “Longest Trail in Ohio.” There are three glade areas, plus five Terrain Parks. A Rope Tow now in The Woods Terrain Park is a new addition this Season

Snow Trails typically opens in early December and the season lasts into March. The resort is located off Interstate 71 south of Mansfield on Possum Run Road.
