Kids love learning new skills, and Home Depot has been a leader in teaching kids how to build for years with Home Depot Free Kids Workshops.
Stores are once again offering free in-person workshops again, with the option to purchase monthly kits to build at home.
Home Depot Free Kids Workshop kits are perfect for children ages 5 – 12. These how-to kits aim to teach kids how to create useful and educational projects, while emphasizing tool safety.
They will develop hands-on skills by gluing, hammering and more. With your help, your child will create their project to use and display – or give as a gift!

Free kids DIY workshops are held the first Saturday of each month between 9 am – 12 pm. Register to participate at your local store while space is still available.
You can arrive anytime to build or take home your project.
They’ll also get a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
If you can’t make it on the day of the workshop, you can also order kits to build at home instead for $5 each– while supplies last.
Note – they often have extra projects leftover the following week and may give them to kids for free! Ask at customer service!
