The City of Powell celebrates Holidays in Powell Tree Lighting & Festivities starting on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Head to this quaint downtown to enjoy the sounds, sights, and tastes of the season from 12-7 pm.

Holidays in Powell

Shop in the boutiques and dine at the local restaurants or from food trucks. Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) is in effect in downtown Powell, so grab a beverage at participating locations as you walk around town and enjoy the experiences.

Registration required for within a 30 minute window. City residents get priority registration through Friday, November 1st. If spots are still available, registration will be open to non-residents through Friday, Dec. 1, if available. All spots now on waitlist.

Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday fun

December 7, 2024 at Village Green Park

 5:00 – 7:00 PM: Entertainment Throughout the Park

• Bonfire with S’mores Station
• Bring the Farm to You animal experience
• Trackless Train Rides around Village Green Park
• Amazing Giants performers
• Strolling Carolers & Live Music on the Amphitheater Stage
• Food Carts with tasty bites to keep you warm

Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa The highlight of the evening will be the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 PM. Gather around as Santa himself lights up the magnificent holiday tree, illuminating the park with festive lights and joy.

The Powell Community Band will be there to add to the magical atmosphere with their beautiful holiday tunes, making this a perfect way to officially kick off the holiday season. You won’t want to miss this heartwarming moment that brings the entire community together in celebration.

Santa’s Mailbox

Santa’s mailbox will be in front of the City’s Municipal Building, 47 Hall Street.
