If you love bourbon and other distilled beverages, and want to try some without spending a lot of money, don’t miss the Annual Heart of Grove City Bourbon and Spirits Festival, formerly the Bourbon Tasting.
On Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 10 p.m., sample liquors from awesome distilleries at this fun tasting.
The tasting will take place at Grove City Town Center on the corner of Arbutus and Park Street. In addition to bourbons, you’ll be able to taste other liquors from craft distilleries.
Enjoy live entertainment, food for purchase, and other vendors at the Craft Distilleries Festival.
Tickets for the Grove City Craft Distilleries Festival
Tickets are $30 for 8 tickets and come with a cup for tasting. Most tastings are one ticket per tasting but there are some that will be a higher ticket cost per tasting.
This event is inside the DORA, so you can enjoy your preference of beverages while hanging with friends in the large green space.
The list of craft distilleries will be on the website before the event.
What’s the difference between bourbon and whiskey?
A whiskey is considered “bourbon” when it is made from at least 51% corn, which provides sweetness, plus rye or barley grains.
Bourbon is aged in new, oak-charred barrels for at least two years. Mix it with soft drinks, water, ice, or enjoy neat – or enjoy it in a cocktail, like a Mint Julep or an Old Fashioned.
