Greeting Card Drive for My Very Own Blanket

Maggie May’s Gifts, a DIY crafting and everyday ideas blog, is on a mission to give 500 volunteer-made greeting cards to kids and teenagers currently in foster care. All cards will be donated to My Very Own Blanket, a local organization that makes quilts and blankets for foster kids, who will distribute them.  Volunteers of all ages are invited to help make greeting cards for this mission.

If you’d like to get involved and spread some cheer to these foster kids, there is one more event scheduled where you can help out by stopping by and making a card.  This is a great activity for kids and a way to teach them about giving back to kids less fortunate.
