Green Lawn Cemetery Halloween Bike Tour and Walking with the Dead 5k

Green Lawn Cemetery is playing host to two spooky Halloween events in the cemetery this year.

Walking with the Dead 5K at Greenlawn Cemetery 

Get ready for a spooky run with the Walking with the Dead 5K at the historic Green Lawn Cemetery on the evening of Friday, October 11, 2024.

Join Columbus Rotary in attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the most people dressed like ghosts during the 6th annual Walking with the Dead 5k Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk.

There will be a beer garden, costume prizes, ghost tours, and more. 

This family-friendly event is open to all, with prizes awarded to top finishers. All racers 21+ get a drink ticket good for a beer from Thunderwing Brewing!

Registration starts at $35 for 1 mile, $40 for 5k. You can also just register for free to be part of the World Record attempt (as a ghost), or register for a Ghost Tour only for $35, offered at 7:30pm & 8:30pm.

By participating, you’ll also support Columbus Rotary’s various community service projects, as proceeds help fund local initiatives.

Halloween Green Lawn Cemetery Bike Tour

Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 from 5 pm – 7 pm. 

Take a spooky Halloween bike tour through Green Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum. Explore some the strangest, weirdest, and most bizarre stories that rest eternally in Ohio’s second largest cemetery. 

Ride through old growth forest and over a ravine, visiting historic mausoleums and creepy graves. After the ride enjoy tasty treats and Halloween libations.

Cost is $40; register online. Bring your own bike or Outdoor Pursuits can provide an adult cruiser style bike for $10. All riders must wear a helmet, and may borrow one if needed.
