Working out can be expensive if you join a gym, but there are plenty of free fitness opportunities around Columbus throughout the week. Don’t slack off just because Summer is almost over! Most are limited on space, so arrive early.

Hikes at Columbus MetroParks – Columbus MetroParks often has ranger-led hikes throughout the month for all different levels, including for families, dogs, and high level fitness.
Walk with a Doc at Highbanks – Held every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. this walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Sabgir of Mount Carmel Clinical Cardiovascular Specialists will lead the walk featuring blood pressure checks, pedometers, healthy snacks, recipes and information to make better lifestyle changes, and opportunities to talk with the docs.
Yoga on High Community Yoga – Every Wednesday through July from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. they offer a community yoga class that includes stretching, breath awareness, yoga postures and relaxation. Donations accepted.
Whole Foods Dublin Yoga – Every Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. you can engage your core and balance your senses with a Yoga Flow.
Whole Foods Upper Arlington Yoga – Every Monday from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. join Balanced Yoga for a free yoga class.
Columbus Commons Fitness Classes (through September)- Enjoy free Bootcamp, Crossfit, Kickboxing, Fitness Hip Hop, Yoga, and Zumba at the Commons on various days of the week through the summer.
