UPDATE: If you signed up for the free mask from DHVANI while it was still available, you may have recently received an email that you can now claim your free mask. Be aware that you will be able to claim a free mask with the code, but they are now adding shipping and handling charges to receive your mask (nearly $7), so this is no longer free. Since you can find a mask for well under $7, we suggest you delete the email and not bother with the claim process.
US-based clothing company DHVANI is offering free face masks for all Americans. They hope to provide 327 million masks – one for each American!
DHVANI has switched production from sustainable and ethically manufactured athletic wear to produce medical-grade personal protection equipment (PPE) and cloth face masks for general population. They want to ensure all Americans have the opportunity for protection by sending free face masks to all Americans who make a request – with free shipping; no credit card required!

Note: Columbus on the Cheap is not affiliated with this company or the giveaway. If you have not received your requested mask, we cannot tell you how, when, or why you haven’t received one yet. No donation is required, and donating does not guarantee your mask will be sent first. If you are concerned that you won’t receive yours, we suggest you not donate until after you get your mask. Update: I requested one in April and received it in July.
To request your free face mask, head to the website to claim your free mask. Once you get to the website, use the drop down menu at the top for “Masks”, and select “A Mask for Every American”.
If you aren’t able to find the link for requesting a free mask, the program may be paused or discontinued. It is still listed on their website, but we have reached out to the company and have not received verification whether the program is still active.
You’ll need to provide your email address and mailing address. No credit card required. They’ve received over 1 million requests, so please be patient; it could take months to receive yours. When your mask is next in line, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your shipping information. Once you have confirmed your shipping information, your mask will ship via USPS First Class Mail. They are also selling masks for $10.
They will also ask if you are a healthcare worker or an essential worker. This allows them to move your request to the front of the line and to send you the right type of mask.
By requesting your mask, you are signing up to receive emails from DHVANI with updates about your mask request & the DHVANI A Mask For Every American program. You’ll receive an email to confirm your subscription and receive your free mask. You can cancel the email subscription after you receive your mask. You must confirm your subscription to be entered to receive a mask, and they will send an address confirmation when they are ready to send your mask.
The program is funded by public donations, so if you are able, consider making a donation.

It’s possible the program is paused or discontinued. The free mask FAQs indicate that they can still be requested, but we aren’t affiliated with the brand and can’t answer the question for sure. You could contact Dhvani via website or social media. Thanks!

We aren’t affiliate with Dhvani – we were just sharing the deal. But they are definitely working on delay, as they had over 1 million requests and were prioritizing front-line workers. I did receive an email that one of mine was being shipping (in July, after requesting in April), so they ARE shipping – just very delayed.

Hi Emma,
It looks like the have redirected the link to their store, but the free mask application is still available. Once you are on the Dhvani site, you’ll need to click on the drop down menu “Masks” at the top, and then select “A Mask for every American”. This should bring up the form to fill out. I’ve edited my instructions in the article to help people find it.
Another note: I requested my mask in April and I just (in July) received a shipping address confirmation email that they are ready to ship mine. So they are definitely working on a long delay, as they were trying to get the masks to frontline workers first.

I’ve tried at least 15 times to apply for a free mask. Each time I get into Davani website to full out application it never, ever shows where to apply. I’m 69, have COPD and have spent alot of money over 5 months buying them. I live in a senior development and masks out my apartment are a must by management. Please help me apply for one. Thank you.

As mentioned in the article, we are not affiliated with Dhvani – we are just reporting the offer. That said, no donation was necessary. You do have to fill out the form on the website (not just donate via gofundme) and click on the link in the verification email they send. Donating does not equal a request for a mask, or give higher priority to receive yours first (the two systems are not linked). I read that they’ve received over 1 million requests and are prioritizing healthcare workers.

I sent my $5.00 where is my mask? Have I been scammed??
Val Cannell says
No need to wonder about me Doris – I’m not affiliated with the company in any way. I’m just sharing the deal. It’s definitely not a hoax for money because there is no charge to request the mask. There is an option to donate, but that doesn’t get you a mask any quicker. They do indicate that they are prioritizing sending masks to healthcare workers, and that it could take some time to receive your mask. They have received over a million requests for masks, so they are working their way through as they can. They also have to continue to run their business in addition to creating the masks. If you need ways to make a mask or other places to buy one, here’s another article. I haven’t received mine either yet, but I’ll be happy if I do, because it’s free.
Doris Bair says
I have four times requested a face mask. Is this a hoax for money??
I am wondering about you.

Hi, you can click on the link in the article to order. I’m not affiliated with the company. I removed your address as you shouldn’t share it in a public website.
