The Columbus Blue Jackets Student Achievers celebrates high performing and improving students for their academic accomplishments with free tickets to a Blue Jackets game!
What makes this offer so inclusive is that it only requires that a student improves by one grade letter, without a specification on subject matter. Even students facing academic challenges can strive to achieve this goal!
Qualify for Free Columbus Blue Jackets Student Achiever tickets
Students that receive straight A’s, or improve a full letter grade in one subject, over the course of a grading period are eligible to receive an exclusive ticket offer!
The program also accepts report cards that aren’t on a traditional A-F grading scale, and will review these accordingly based on scale.
Note: this can only be redeemed once per season/school year per student, and is limited to during the hockey season. As such, final spring report card is not eligible.
Parents can upload a copy of the student’s report card and if it qualifies, you’ll get an email within 3 weeks with instructions on how to redeem the offer. Full details here.
Getting the tickets
Once your submission has been approved, you will be contacted via email with a link and a code to select your game and seats for your complimentary ticket(s). Select home games are available for this discount.
You purchase additional tickets at a special discount for the rest of the family. These tickets were $21 +fees during the 2023/2024 season.
If you have multiple students achievers, you can get free tickets for each student for the same game, or attend multiple games. Only one free ticket per student per school year, so you would need to purchase the discounted tickets for additional seats for each game.
Want more hockey? You can also get tickets for any of the other games listed at the special Student Achiever rate by clicking on the game you would like to attend and purchasing under the Additional Tickets heading.
Any Unclaimed Tickets from the 2023/24 Season will be valid for the first games of the 2024/25 Season. So if you submitted a report card last year and weren’t able to attend a game, there are several games to choose from in the Fall!
