Head to the beautiful Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus along the Scioto Mile on Friday, August 30 at 8 pm for a free BalletMet performance for Rhythm on the River – An Evening of Dance.
BalletMet, along with Opera Columbus, will preview select works from their upcoming 2019-2020 seasons including Twisted 3, a collaboration with BalletMet, Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Opera Columbus to celebrate CAPA’s 50th Anniversary.
Bring blankets and chairs to enjoy this free BalletMet performance under the stars. This is a popular annual event, so arrive early to claim your spot! Dine at one of the nearby establishments, or bring a picnic and enjoy Scioto mile as evening falls.
COSI After Dark is going on across the river from 5 pm – 9 pm on Friday, so you can enjoy some COSI fun with reduced admission before enjoying BalletMet! The Columbus Greek Festival near Goodale Park also starts on Friday at 11 am, so you could start there for some food and entertainment!
This performance will The partnership between BalletMet and the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is in its 22nd year.
