Touch a Truck and Fright Night at Fortress Obetz

Fortress Obetz, the former Columbus Motor Speedway, is now home to the Obetz Zucchinifest, Famous Fortress Fireworks, sporting events, concerts, festivals, and more.

Owned and maintained by the Village of Obetz, it’s the location of events and activities for everyone to enjoy through the year.

Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 4 pm – 8 pm

The FCEO Touch-And-Ride-A-Truck moves to a new location at Fortress Obetz!

This Halloween-themed event is designed to give kids an opportunity to interact and learn about various equipment and vehicles. See Facebook event page.

Fortress Fright Night 

The annual Halloween event is October 26, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Admission and parking are FREE!

Get ready for a spine-chilling Halloween experience at Obetz’s Annual Fright Night.

The Fortress is transformed into a frightful wonderland of Halloween-themed fun and activities. There will be plenty of delicious food and drinks available from a variety of food trucks and vendors, as well as live entertainment and music to keep you in the Halloween spirit.

Activities include: 

• Aerial shows by the Cincinnati Circus Company at 6:15 PM & 8 PM
• Inflatable Attractions
• Kids’ Halloween Games, Face Painting, & Balloon Twisting
• Schmidt’s, Jarheads, Tortilla, Kona, & Mini Donuts food trucks
• Pumpkin Carving Demonstration
• Photo Opportunities, a Haunted Hayride, and more!

Saturday, March 30, 2024, gates open at 10:30 am.
Hunt for 40,000 Easter eggs on the turf. Egg hunt will begin promptly at 11am. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will start at 11:15am. No registration required.

Every Thursday, May 2 – August 22, 2024 from 6-9 pm. Celebrate horsepower at this show featuring ALL makes and models (old, new, lifted, lowered) cars, trucks, jeeps, exotics, and bikes. If it has an engine and you want to show it off, it’s welcome!

Famous Fortress Fireworks with Village of Obetz

July 3, 2024. Live music, food trucks, inflatables, and games starting at 6 pm, followed by fireworks at 9:50 pm!

Come early for food trucks, inflatables, yard games, live music, and more. 

Obetz ZucchiniFest

August 30 – September 2, 2024. The festival will include entertainment, FREE concerts with (headliners tba), food, beer garden, a cruise-in and motorcycle show, and a fantastic parade. Admission is free, which includes concerts.
