Free ‘Gone Fishing’ event at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops for kids

Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are aiming to get kids interested in fishing with their FREE fishing activities for kids at the Gone Fishing event near Father’s Day.

June 8-9 and 15-16, 2024 from 11am-3pm

‘Gone Fishing’ event at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops features catch-and-release ponds, free crafts, free photos (with free downloads) and free seminars. Kids will go home with a “First Fish” certificate.

Kids can experience the excitement of fishing at in-store catch-and-release ponds and earn a free “First Fish Certificate” from Fishing League Worldwide to celebrate their achievement.

After completing the catch-and-release pond, kids will receive free take-home crafts and giveaways while supplies last.

The event also coincides with Free Fishing weekend in Ohio, so kids can practice in store, and head to a body of water for some fishing in nature! Check out details here.
