Enjoy free family fun at the annual Festival Latino produced by CAPA on August 10-11, 2024 at Genoa Park near downtown.
Since 1996 the Festival Latino has been providing Columbus the opportunity to experience traditional and contemporary Latin American culture and is now the largest Latin event in Ohio.

The festival will feature performing and visual arts, educational workshops, kids’ area, and authentic cuisine. There will be great musical performances through the weekend, including nationally-known artists, such as Tony Vega, Brenda K. Starr, and HĂ©ctor Acosta “El Torito”.
Take salsa lessons or watch dance performances at the Dance Plaza, or dance the day away listening to performers at the Main Stage. Check out the Marketplace featuring Ohio-based Latin artists, plus the Author’s Showcase, Health and Wellness area, and Community Resources area.
The free children’s area features crafts, games, and more on the Rich St. bridge.

Food at Festival Latino
Latino food is a big part of Festival Latino. If you can’t enjoy the authentic cuisine at the festival this year, try your hand with a recipe at home. Here’s a basic recipe for Arepas.
Before and after the festival make sure to support local business and visit one of these amazing Latino restaurants in Columbus for carryout.
