14th Annual OHIO CROSS COUNTRY Middle School and Elementary STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS is happening at Dublin Jerome High School on Sunday, October 25 with the first race starting at 10 AM.
Last year, over 1600 runners participated from every part of Ohio. This meet gives elementary and middle school individual runners and teams the state championships they deserve. It is the most anticipated race of the year. Registration for the event can be found along with all information needed to get signed up. There are testimonials, pictures, rules and regulations, past event results, etc. GCXC Race Management, the most innovative and accurate timing company in the state, will be timing the races with live updates and results. Medals and giant Willy Wonka bars (yes, look for a golden ticket!) go to the top 15 finishers of each race, trophies to the top 3 teams of each race, 5 pound giant gummy bears to top 3 of each race, championship rings, giant gummy bears, medals and trophies to OHIO’S FASTEST BOY AND GIRL OF 2020. Three exciting awards ceremonies are held throughout the day complete with music, loudspeaker name announcements with a huge podium for winners to stand on. All middle school races are separated by school divisions 1, 2 and 3 for teams and separated into a Silver or Gold race for individuals. Top runners run in Gold races and average runners enter Silver. This gives everyone a better and more fair chance to make it on the podium. This event is the only one of its kind in Ohio and possibly the country.
20.00 per individual runner and 150.00 per team as well as 5.00 for spectators and 5.00 per carload for parking and proceeds of that go to the school booster program
