On April 7, look back to the 1920s and “Party Like It’s Prohibition.”
The Heritage Speakeasy offers mixed drinks from the era at a cash bar, music and a photo station to capture the fun. The program is “Anything but Dry: Prohibition in Central Ohio,” presented by Kathryn Kaslow from the Westerville History Center & Museum.
There is a silent auction. 1920s attire is encouraged but not required, and dancing shoes are welcome!
When: Thursday, April 7 Social time begins at 6pm, dinner buffet opens at 6:30pm
Where: KC Event Center 343 E. Walnut St, Lancaster
Cost: $39 per person, includes dinner of baked steak. fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls, beverage, and dessert Cash bar with 1920s drinks: Gin Rickey, Mary Pickford, and Sidecar
