A street festival and exhibition of hand-stitched folk art created by Mexican and Central American women and men seeking asylum in the United States. Music, food trucks, and children’s activities.
Saturday, May 21: noon – 4 pm.
The outdoor festival accompanies an indoor display of 75 devotional embroideries which tell the story, and demonstrate the faith, of women and families forced to flee their homes. Don’t miss the gallery talk at 2 pm
