This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20 from 2 – 3:30 pm join the Bexley Public Library to celebrate Coretta Scott King, activist and Civil Rights leader in her own right. Learn about the Coretta Scott King Award for children’s literature that exemplifies stories of non-violent social change. We will be showcasing award-winning books for youth of all ages and beloved storyteller Lyn Ford will share stories that motivated the work of Ohio’s own Coretta Scott King Award winner, Virginia Hamilton.
