Join the Columbus Community in showing support for our nation’s military, veterans, first responders and their families.
Carry The Load is a 501(c)3 organization co-founded by two Navy SEAL veterans who wanted to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day. The mission has since broadened to include more than just our military heroes and veterans, but also first responders and their families.
As a lead-up to the Memorial Day march in Dallas, Carry The Load now also has 3 routes followed by walkers and cyclists across the country, handing off the American flag every five miles. Join us as we walk through Columbus on Monday, May 13.
Schedule:
May 13 at Noon: Meet at 1111 Polaris Parkway (JP Morgan Chase) and begin walk to the Worthington Fire Department.

*Participants are encouraged to bring a momento that is symbolic of the load they are carrying; it can be a rucksack, photo or name badge.
After arriving at the fire station, the Carry The Load relay team will continue the 3,900 mile trek to Dallas.
