Behind the microphone, award-winning Tennessee musician Sarah Kate Morgan needs only her sweet pure voice and her rustic dulcimer to take audiences’ imaginations back to simpler times and hard struggles in the Appalachian mountains.
January 30 at 7 pm, she’ll bring that angelic magic to the virtual concert stage, sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society.
Folk music fans can experience Sarah’s live show by going to the Facebook page of CFMS just before 7 pm on January 30. See event page here to set a reminder to watch the show!
At age 18, Sarah won the 2012 National Mountain Dulcimer Championship. Now, still in her twenties, she continues to present haunting old-time tunes with a progressive drive and heartfelt vocals.
Donations in appreciation of the concert will be welcomed, a suggested $15 per person for the general public, $10 for CFMS members.
