To celebrate the spring season and Easter, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium hosts their annual Spring celebration Eggs, Paws and Claws on March 29-30, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Fun Eggs, Paws and Claws activities
Get ready for Easter with Eggbert’s Rolling Shell-A-Bration, and more Easter fun.
Go on a Egg-Splore-n-Find! Locate the hidden eggs around the Zoo and collect the corresponding card for each egg you find. Once you find all 9, stop by the Egg-Splore-n-Find Central for a prize.
Visit with the hosts of the event near Conservation Lake, including Eggbert, Shelley, Yolko, and Oh-No.
Animal Enrichment activities will be going on around the Zoo as animals hunt their own “eggs” to enjoy or play with. See the schedule on the website to find out where those activities will be happening.
Easter Bunny Photos at the Zoo
Let’s not forget about the Easter Bunny! Hop over to My House at Habitat Hollow, located in North America, for a photo with the Easter Bunny! Guests will have the chance to see the Easter Bunny, and get a photo of themselves in front of the ol’ hare himself.
Make reservations in advance! A stand-by line is available
Advanced reservations are encouraged, but there is a stand-by line as well.
Admission and Details for Eggs, Paws and Claws

Sensory-Friendly Easter Bunny Experience
March 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Guests can meet the Easter Bunny and one of our Egg Ambassadors in a sensory-friendly environment with reduced sounds, decreased visual stimulation, and controlled crowds in the Suzie Edwards Conservation Education building, located outside the Zoo’s entrance.
A Spring-themed activity with sensory considerations will also be available. Tickets are $5 per group. Book online while available. Families are admitted every 15 minutes to prevent large crowds.
The sensory-friendly experience does not include Zoo admission. Tickets or membership are required.
