Love Mario Kart? Make plans to check out real go-kart street racing at the Commercial Point Karting Classic on August 5, 6, and 7, 2022.

Enjoy a weekend of entertainment and racing action, including a car show, live music, go-kart street racing, and more. It’s fun for all ages, and spectator admission to the racing and concert is FREE.

Commercial Point is just 20 minutes from Columbus, so it’s a quick drive to check out the weekend fun.

Commercial Point Karting Classic

Friday, August 5th
Kick off the weekend with “The Classic” car and bike show. Car registration is $10; spectators are free. Awards: Five (5) “The Classic” Super Premium Special Trophies, twenty-five (25) “The Classic” Premium 3’ trophies, 6’ Best of Show Trophy, 3’ Race Committee Choice Trophy, 92.3 WCOL “Zuko’s” Choice Trophy, and 50 dash plaques to first 50 entrants. 

Saturday, August 6th
Racing starts at 10 am. Come for a day full of racing action during the heat races, followed by an outdoor concert.

Sunday, August 7th
Racing starts at 10 am. Karters push their machines and skills to the test as they race for money during the feature races.

About street kart racing

Street kart racing in Commercial Point, Ohio is a long standing tradition. Go-Karts have been racing these streets for over 50 years.

With the first race held in 1968 and continuing sporadically throughout the years, 2022 will mark the 30th race held on the streets of Commercial Point.
